Global Collaborative Learning

Learning With The World

Mali Bickley & Jim Carleton

Learn and collaborate with the world! Communicate, collaborate and share with the world as you and your students engage in real and meaningful projects that will make a difference in the world and the lives of all involved.

During this session, we will be learning how to find collaborative projects through a variety of organizations.

We will be working with a variety of free 2.0 tools to explore how to embed these technologies in collaborative projects.

Discover how you can participate in "Learning Circles"; facilitated and structured projects where 8-10 classes from throughout the globe, are connected through common curriculum based topics.

We will connect live to teachers in Japan, Turkey, Taiwan, Israel, Belarus and Australia using several synchronous tools that are available free to teachers.

Participants at this session will receive a free membership to the International Education and Resource Network and take away other resources that can be used in your classroom.
